CWind Taiwan, a joint venture between CWind and International Ocean Vessel Technical Consultant (IOVTEC), provides crew transfer vessels, offshore technicians, construction and O&M services, and training to the Taiwanese offshore wind farm industry.

CWind Taiwan, a joint venture between CWind and International Ocean Group (IOG), provides crew transfer vessels, offshore technicians, construction and O&M services, and training to the Taiwanese offshore wind industry.

From CWind, CWind Taiwan has inherited experience working at over 50 European offshore wind farms and operates to the highest European standards of Health and Safety. IOG brings a wealth of knowledge of the Taiwanese offshore wind industry and collaborative relationships with local stakeholders and authorities. Utilising combined resources, CWind Taiwan applies European experience and Taiwanese knowledge to deliver a full turnkey solution, with a range of integrated services and packages across the lifecycle of an offshore wind farm and access to local technicians and high performing Taiwanese-flagged vessels for construction and O&M services.

CWind Taiwan is growing to be a leading player in the Taiwanese offshore wind supply chain. We have in house local technicians and crew with practical experience on Taiwanese wind farms, and setup an offshore wind training facility, Taiwan International Windpower Training Center, in cooperation with major government authorities, to provide a comprehensive range of GWO accredited courses and bespoke training.

Vincent has a master’s degree from Department of Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering of National Taiwan University. Therefore, he is skilled at marine engineering and subsea survey. Before founding CWind Taiwan, he accumulated relevant experience more than ten years in subsea survey industry. He is now in charge of internal management and setting goals for company’s future growth. He leads the whole IOG continuously fulfil the vision of localizing the experiences and know-how for renewable energy industry in Taiwan and looking into expanding to the APAC area.

Tom Manning is General Manager of CWind Taiwan. Based in Taipei, he oversees operations and business development for both our Taiwanese offshore wind projects and TIWTC, Taiwan’s first GWO-approved offshore training school. Prior to Joining CWind Taiwan, Tom was Commercial Director for S. B. Submarine Systems Co., Ltd. (SBSS), China’s leading subsea cable installation company. Tom has been part of the Global Marine Group team for over 10 years and has a degree from The University of Sheffield.

Ethan has dual master’s degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering and in Applied Economics from University of Michigan. He has served in Maersk Group and specialized in business management in the marine industry before joining CWind Taiwan. The main role in CWind Taiwan for Ethan is to develop both the business and operational strategies.

Previously employed as a General Manager Operations for Cwind, he has extensive experience in managing a wide range of projects across the offshore wind industry.

Shawn has a degree from Department of Merchant Marine of National Taiwan Ocean University. He also has master qualification and practical ocean experience . With the two professional fields of navigation and ship management, he is in charge of leading the operation of vessel department in CWind Taiwan. He is specialized in fleet management, project execution and crew management.
